A permit expediter charges $1,000–$3,500 per sign permit. One avoided expediter permit pays for months of PermitMySign — and the Permit Procurement Fee you already bill your customer ($150–$550 is typical) covers the subscription on its own. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial.

Honest math only: this compares your numbers above against the flat plan price — it does not assume the software makes anyone faster. The staff time you keep is real but yours to price. Expediter default is the middle of Permit Place’s published $1,000–$3,500 sign-permit range; your quotes may differ. You’ll still pay the city’s own permit fees either way.

The math, plainly

And you likely don’t pay it out of pocket: shops typically bill customers a Permit Procurement Fee of $150–$550 per job. One of those a month covers any plan.

The plan limit counts only permits that are live in front of the city — jobs in submitted, plan review, or corrections. Drafts, finished packages, and approved permits never count against it, so you only pay for the work a reviewer is actually holding.
